Those tuning into the Europa League final on Wednesday may have had difficulty at first pointing out the players.
Viewers expecting to get a closer look at Arsenal and Chelsea soon realised they would have to put up with a long lense camera angle.
The pitch at the Olympic Stadium in Baku is already a fair distance from the stands as it is.
It prompted a number of social media users to have their say online shortly after kick-off on Wednesday.
'I know Baku is far away, but they could have let the TV cameras into Azerbaijan,' tweeted talkSPORT presenter Max Rushden.
'What is this camera angle?' another one asked. 'Feels like I need binoculars to watch the game.' Another added: 'Pre-season camera angle you know.'

The country isn't all so bad,the problem was mostly with the stadium. It would be amazing if they could play it in one of the world cup stadiums in South Africa.
