This is some nonsense stats if he shines against top teams only he would be having the world cup trophy with him ...You score who you meet most and the chances created for you in games no matter the magnitude of the match ...should he sleep when he faces far less teams or what do you expect him to do ...not to take chances when he gets them ? basically Argentina are a bigger side hence are likely to match bigger opponents Portugal is not in the same level with Argentina so messi should even be scoring alot more when he faces underdogs since his team creates chances like a big team
