A list of 4 records held by Cristiano Ronaldo that will be very hard to break by anybody in the future
Whether it is at the club level or the international level, Cristiano Ronaldo seems to make and break footballing records on a weekly basis. Despite being at the age of 33, when most players enter their decline and start contemplating their retirement, Ronaldo is showing few signs of following suit and continues to perform at the most elite level.
Although the Portuguese legend has a whole host of records to his name, there are some more impressive than others. The sheer size of Ronaldo's record collection is impressive enough but not all of them are unbeatable.
Nevertheless, there are some staggering records that he possesses that seem next to impossible to be broken by a future star of the game. Here's a look at 4 such records that are currently held by Ronaldo:
1. Winning every individual and team honor with two clubs
Ronaldo has won the Ballon D'or, World Player of the Year, Golden Boot, Champions League, domestic league, domestic cup, World Club Championship, and domestic Super Cup at two different clubs.
While his rival, Lionel Messi has achieved this at Barcelona during his miraculous career, CR7 has done so at both Manchester United and Real Madrid. The closest player to matching this record is French legend Zinedine Zidane, who won virtually every individual and team honour at Juventus and Real Madrid, but not all of them.
When considering that of all the legends the game has produced, none have been able to accomplish this feat other than Ronaldo, it begs the question of whether someone in the future will be able to do so either - it is difficult enough achieving this at one club.
It is unfathomable as to how any player in the foreseeable future will eclipse this astonishing record set by the Portuguese, and will rightly be the hardest record of his to break.
2. Scoring 300 La Liga goals in just 286 games
Since Ronaldo joined Real Madrid in 2009, it is fair to say that he has been nothing short of a goal scoring miracle.
The Real Madrid legend has spent his time in Spain devastating goalkeepers season after season and in just his 286th game in La Liga, he scored his 300th goal which is the quickest any player has achieved this.
When considering that Ronaldo also holds the record for reaching 100 goals and 200 goals faster than any other player in La Liga history, this record becomes even more impressive as it shows that from the moment he joined Real Madrid in 2009, he has been consistently scoring goals.
The fact that he has done it at an unprecedented rate of 1.05 goals per game means that it would require another individual to perform at an even higher level than Ronaldo has done for nearly a decade, and chances are that it will stay unbroken.
With the Portuguese behemoth currently sitting at 307 La Liga goals in 288 games, he is showing few signs of slowing down and this record can only get stretched further.
3. Scoring 50 goals for 6 consecutive seasons in a Top-5 league
Being the quickest player to score 300 La Liga goals isn't the only indicator of what an unparalleled goal scorer Ronaldo is. His feat of scoring 50 goals in a season for 6 consecutive seasons in a top league is a truly mind blowing accomplishment.
To make this achievement stand out even more, Lionel Messi has only managed to do this consecutively for 3 seasons.
To score 50 goals in one season is remarkable, but to do it in 6 consecutive seasons at the highest level of football is beyond belief and for that reason it will be a virtually impossible record to break in the future.
Ronaldo's six consecutive seasons where he hit at least 50 goals:
10/11: 54 apps 53 goals
11/12: 55 apps 60 goals
12/13: 55 apps 55 goals
13/14: 47 apps 51 goals
14/15: 54 apps 61 goals
15/16: 48 apps 51 goals
4. Scoring more than 10 Champions League goals in 7 consecutive seasons
The Champions League is the competition that Cristiano Ronaldo performs at his highest level, and this is evidenced by numerous records he holds in the most elite club tournament.
None of these achievements illustrate his dominance more than his record of scoring more than 10 goals a season for seven consecutive seasons in the Champions League.
To put this record into greater context, no other player has managed to achieve this feat for more than 2 seasons despite the tournament being over 60 years old and it is for this reason that it seems highly unlikely that this record will be broken even in the future.
In addition, with Ronaldo still dominating the Champions League in terms of scoring, it is almost certain that he will extend this record - thereby making it even harder to break.

I would rate Salah better than Ronaldo, whats your opinion?? Both are strikers better to compare players playing in same position. Scoring Goals can never be criteria for being the best, otherwise a defender or a midfielder can never be rated best. watch Messi & Ronaldo play & then decide who gives you more goosebumps, answer definitely will be Messi
Your skein of thought is flawed. Scoring goals isn't what makes Cristiano the best, it's deciding games with three different teams and being a legend of those 3 teams: Portugal, Man U and Real Madrid. He keeps doing the impossible and unthinkable even at 33. We will never see such a player again

Real Madrid should consider renaming the Santiago BernabΓ©u stadium after Cristiano Ronaldo

At the end of every match we ask of the winner but not the one who dribbled most.If Barcelona thinks goal scoring is not important then why do you always screamed whenever you scored but don't screamed when you are playing your tiki taka. CRISTIANO RONALDO WILL CONTINUE TO BE ON TOP OF HIS UNTIL HIS BONES IS ROTTEN. REAL MADRID BOUGHT HIM TO COME AND HELP THE TEAM TO RESTORE IT GLORY.AND HE IS PERFORMING HIS DUTY. #NO PLAYER CAN BE COMPARED TO RONAAAAAAAALLLLLDOOOOO!!!!!

deciding games? Do u ever watch Madrid games? There are players who decide the games, Cr7 always ends up being at the "receiving end" of those players' work. example, first leg of the champions league this season against PSG, Asensio was the difference in that game but all credit went to cr7 because he was just at the receiving end of the difference that Asensio made.
That's the problem, you can pass all you want and dribble till eternity; if the ball doesn't end up in the net, it counts for nothing. There is a reason the goal stats are the most important ones. There are many would-have-been great goals that would have probably won the Puskas if only the striker was composed enough to put the ball at the back of the net.. Ask yourself: Why couldn't Depay, Dimaria, Sanchez, young, Ibrahimovic, Lukaku and even Rooney replace Cristiano after he left Man U. After all, the popular fallacy was that the teammates that struggled after his departure were responsible for his achievements. Same with portugal: the only game they lost in the WCQ was the one Cristiano failed to play in. Cristiano has played in 3 high profile teams, being the legend of each but people like you will always find an excuse to not accept his eminence.

At Age 33 he is still synchronizing his game with the age, building consistency at the highest level. What else should we say, how can we prove again he is the best. Let me give critics their unanswered questions.. 1. Ask Ronaldo is just scoring goals any striker can, in fact anybody can do that. This is your answers. Mention any just three strikers in the world that has maintained consistency like Ronaldo for 8 years, not even in the history of football have they seen a number maintaining this trend of 50 goals a season for 6 consecutive years. 2. Ronaldo only scores tap in goals. They're have forgotten how he takes down defenders to score incredible goals years before. 3. Ronaldo doesn't want another Striker at Madrid because they'll score more goals than him..... π π π π apart from mention all the world top clubs and their 'NO 9's when last for the past 6 years has any of them scored than Ronaldo in their respective clubs. when they can't achieve that in their clubs how can they now beat him at Madrid. 4. Ronaldo is successful because he plays for Madrid. They have forgotten his success started at Sporting as extra ordinary then at Madrid. what else should we tell them about Ronaldo π π π π

@zutbceimsy not decider goal for Portugal at euro 2016 final. he went out. remember the winking at man.united?? yes he is doing good at Real Madrid but that doesn't make him the world's best.
If I ask you how many Champions league titles Messi has won, you'll say 4 without considering that he wasn't even on the bench when the first one was won.. in fact, he participated only as far as the round of 16 that year. Who scored the most goals, made the most assists, scored the semifinal goal and the goals that got Portugal out of the group stage in Euro 2016? Ronaldo.. He also played about 30 mins of the finals. It's no coincidence that Portugal was only able to win an international title in the era of Cristiano. Argentina on the other hand are experiencing one of the worst moments in their existence under Messi

[CR7], [messi] why do people compare them. They are both abselutly savage. Dont fight over who is better because u cant really say. They both play for the the two best clubs of history, They both have won the ballendor 5 times, and they have both broke a lot of records. So dont waist what time they have left fighting, spend it on the enjoyment

Please Barç fans I respect you and your point of view here is an article about Cr7 as u can read it u can see that is a fact and we're not comparing it to what Messi did so why can't you just agree and congratulate him? instead of making comparison, do we have to compare them every day? at every article?

Good reply for diehard Ronaldo haters. When you hate a man you'll do all within your power to downplay his achievements. However, Ronaldo's achievements are so glaring that haters find it difficult to rubbish most times. Hence their resort to flimsy reasons why he is not the best.

Christiano Ronaldo Nooooooo sizeooooo. Eeeeeoiii is true our coach (Zinedine Zidane) said it apaaa that Ronaldo is from another planet, what a legend we have in Santiago Bernabeu nobody can be compare to him as he just said by himself recently. He is the master of Champions league, goal scoreler machine, the record holder and th honour man to every teams he served before (Portugal, Man U and Real Madrid). I think our president Perez should name Santiago Bernabeu after Christiano Ronaldo de unstoppable player. What made me mad is that everywhere he goes he can play, score and make records as Lionel Messi canβt do that kraaaaa. Is just Barca Barca Barca that Lionel Messi can makes records for them

Then clearly you don't know Ronaldo. I'm talking of an attitude openly displayed for more that 8 years, you are talking of just a minute gesture. .
Oh, I do know that in spite of the shade and vitriol thrown at him, he remains the most generous sports man in recent rankings and is a favorite amongst most of his teammates and past coaches. You see what you want to see but sometimes try to see beyond your sentiments

I don't think what you say about ronaldo is true you made mention of other strikers scoring goals like ronaldo and you forgotten that all strikers in the world today contexts for ball in the midfield the reason messi can not be compared to ronaldo is that messi doesn't stand and watch teammate suffering in hands of the opponents without intervene and make the game easy for them. had messi took a stand in front of goal post he would've being scoring 100 goal in each season. take for example when he practice that the time xavi was still in the club he came out in calendar year with 91 goals which no one has ever done upon he still goes to context for ball in the midfield but he stayed very close to post rather than go into midfield because xavi understands him more than any other player in Barcelona but since xavi went out of the club the load become more heavy on him that if he did not go into the midfield and push the ball forward to the post no body does these is why Barcelona had been engaging in buying one midfielder after another. so messi is incomparable

Ronaldo is neither a positioned striker nor a midfielder!!!, scoring these number of goals that brings about trophies and an increase in the revenue generations for both club and country has distinguished him from other players that had played this beautiful game of football historically.. The only winger who has achieved this feat is a G.O.A.T...
