AC Milan signing Ruben Loftus-Cheek has posted a farewell to Chelsea and their fans.
Loftus-Cheek cut ties with his formative club on Friday, joining Milan in a €20m deal.
He wrote on social media: "I don't even know where to begin. I've been at Chelsea since I was eight years old, coming up through the ranks and playing senior football. There just isn't a better feeling.
"I have truly gone from being a boy to a man at this club over the last 19 years and it is hard to say goodbye. Thanks to everyone involved with Chelsea who have helped me throughout my career.
"Thanks to all the fans who have always supported me from day one. I wish nothing but the best for you all and I hope to see the club get back on track and win something again.
"It is time for me to start a new adventure in football, to have to live in a new country and experience a new culture, but I really hope that our paths meet again in the future.
"Thanks for everything."
