Hello, everyone! This is AF Channel. Every day we offer you something to discuss, debate or games to play.
Today's question is: Who is the Unluckiest man in football history? Why?
Let me nominate one: Michael Ballack.
He ran for Ballon d'or 3 times but didn't win it once. In 2002 World Cup, he scored three goals and made four assists, but suffered heartbreak when a yellow card in the last four ruled him out of the final, a 2-0 loss to Brazil.
Also in 2002, he helped Leverkusen to reach the finals of UCL but eventually lost.
Playing for Chelsea, the Blues reached the UCL in 2008, but an untimely slip in the penalty shoot-out from John Terry gave Ballack another champions league Runner-up medal.
A year later, a disastrous performance from referee Tom Henning Ovrebo in the Champions League semi-final second leg at Stamford Bridge saw Chelsea denied Four penalties against Barcelona which ruled Chelsea out.

being a Liverpool fan I must say it's jurgen klopp-this man is a genius tactician but at the same time the unluckiest lost all the cup finals including champions league(with Liverpool & Dortmund against Real Madrid & Bayern Munich respectively ) , Europa league against Seville & carabao cup against man city. Hopefully this year he gets luckier with every competition ♥️

a bit contrevrosal but i have to say oscar. he moved from england with a bright future and to make money wich was the wrong choice. he could of stayed at chealse prove to be a first team player for a couple of years. maybe even hit the radar of some of the more succesful teams( not say chelsea is unsuccesful its the prem is a hard league ) ie barca, real, bayern etc win major throphies improve as a player wich would of lead to call ups for brazil. earn a healthy wage but nooo he chooses to go to china for money. realised it was the wrong move. then moves to russia. he blew it for a payday

The whole Argentinian squad from 2104-2017, they lost three consecutive finals. In 2014, they lost last minutes of extra time against Germany. In 2015&2016 they lost copa America's final matches against Chile in the penalty shoot out. They were probably the unluckiest squad of all time and they all time and each one of them was ome of the unluckiest players of all time. Who else loses three finals in row with his national team in three years in row.

Jimmy Greaves. English center forward chosen by many as the most prolific scorer in English football. Missed out on a place in the 1966 World Cup success for England. The rest they say is history.

I think it's Marco Reus He had so much talent and still has lot's of but injury ruined his career When he was under Klopp he had such a great future and could have been playing for Bayern Barca Real etc now if it were not for injuries Also it ruined his International career and missed World Cup 2014 and Euro 2016 because of it Now whenever he plays he scores which shows what a great talent he is and if it were not for Injuries he would be now on the same level as some top class players now
