Sergio Aguero was given a hero's send-off ahead of his final match for Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.

The striker was named in the starting line-up against Everton, coming out of the tunnel to a guard of honour from his teammates before kick-off.

With fans in the Etihad for the first time this season, Aguero was able to receive thanks for his City career by supporters in-person.

The veteran has won five Premier League titles, six League Cups, one FA Cup and three Community Shields since making the move from Atletico Madrid in 2011.

Now the club's all-time leading goalscorer with 260 goals - including two in the 5-0 win over Everton - Aguero could make his final City appearance in the Champions League final against Chelsea on Saturday.

With his City career almost at an end, the Argentine is looking set to complete a free transfer to Barcelona this summer.
