Alisson likened to Karius after gifting Manchester City two goals

Liverpool had Alisson to blame for a couple of the goals they conceded to Manchester City at Anfield on Sunday.

The former Roma goalkeeper gave the ball away on two occasions, gifting City two goals as they took control of the game in the second half.

The first of his mistakes allowed Phil Foden to roam into the Liverpool box and, just as Alisson came out to close him down, cut the ball back to Ilkay Gundogan to score.

The second time, it was Bernardo Silva who did most of the damage. He dinked the ball over Alisson to find Raheem Sterling, who headed in from a yard out.

Liverpool's Brazilian No.1, who has been excellent since arriving at Anfield three seasons ago, endured an afternoon to forget.
