Cristian Ansaldi was linked with Atalanta, but Sky Sport Italia claim he has agreed to extend his contract with Torino instead.
The wing-back turns 34 next month and is set to become a free agent this summer.
Gian Piero Gasperini had targeted Ansaldi for his Atalanta squad, having already worked with him during their time together at Genoa.
However, according to Sky Sport Italia expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Ansaldi has given his word that he’ll extend his contract with Torino for one more year.
Ansaldi made 32 competitive appearances for the Granata this season, contributing five goals and seven assists.
