Gabriel Martinelli has given Arsenal fans some transfer hope after he followed the club on social media.
The Brazilian 17-year-old, who plays for Ituano, is high on the Gunners' wishlist this summer and is understood to be in the process of completing a £6.5million move to north London.
Martinelli appeared to almost confirm the news by following the club's official Instagram page, which was picked up on by Arsenal supporters.
The forward doesn't need a work permit to sign for the Gunners, despite being Brazilian, as he qualifies for an Italian passport through his dad.
The 17-year-old is highly-rated in his native Brazil where he was named best newcomer in the Campeonato Paulista.
Arsenal scout Francis Cagigao has helped get the transfer over the line after travelling out to Brazil to watch the teenager in action.
The signing, should the Gunners indeed get it over the line, will be another indication Unai Emery is continuing to build for the future.
Perhaps the best transfer made by the Spaniard last summer was that of Matteo Guendouzi - a 19-year-old who was expected to join the Gunners' academy, but instead became an important first team player.
Arsenal aren't blessed with the financial clout of their rivals but freed up funds recently when Aaron Ramsey departed for Juventus .
The Wales international is no longer on the London club's wage bill, but Arsenal must ensure they sign adequate midfield cover for Ramsey.
