With all of that being said, stay tuned for football.london's Arsenal blog as we bring you all the latest transfer rumours, injury news and general updates LIVE from the Emirates Stadium.

Erling Haaland could be set to leave Man City in the long-term as his agent confirmed plans are being made for all clients over their future.

Super agent Rafaela Pimenta said at the FT Business of Football summit in London: "The day the market [transfer window] finishes is the day I start visiting clubs to talk about players, to see what may be in the future. We are in February, I have already been to rounds of clubs four times this year.

"There are so many different clubs, we can be studying, who’s going to retire, who’s getting old, who’s injured, who’s doing bad. Maybe this will happen there. It’s like a chess game and you try to anticipate the next move.”

Sean Dyche believes Arsenal have all the credentials to win the Premier League title after his Everton were comfortably beaten by the Gunners on Wednesday evening. Just a few weeks after the Toffees defeated the league leaders in Dyche's first game in charge, Arsenal got their revenge in emphatic fashion scoring four goals without reply.

The candidates are out for February's Player of the Month and there's some difficult decisions to make over who should win it for Arsenal...

Arsenal fans have theorised that Rafael Leao could be joining the club in the summer after a social media post.

The Gunners are preparing their plans for the summer transfer window, with the potential for some big signings.

Ex-Arsenal player Emmanuel Frimpong believes the Gunners' huge win over Everton on Wednesday night has put pressure back on Man City in the title race.

He told BettingSites.co.uk: "The Arsenal performance against Everton was very good. The first 30 minutes was a bit poor because Everton showed a lot of spirit and fight, but quality always wins in the end. It took a brilliant pass from Oleksandr Zinchenko and a great finish from Bukayo Saka to unlock the Everton defence.

"At the moment, we have to keep winning, we've recovered from the bad performances against Manchester City and Everton last time. Yesterday was a crucial win because Manchester City have Newcastle on the weekend which is a tough game, we might be able to extend the points gap even more."

A huge part of Mikel Arteta's process at Arsenal is to develop young talent and it is fair to say that is exactly what he is doing judging by a fresh stat that emerged recently.

Since the arrival of Leandro Trossard into the Arsenal first team, the immediate response has been the analysis of Gabriel Martinelli’s improvement.

This is for good reason and certainly the Brazilian looks now the in-form player in the Gunners’ XI.

Arsenal went into the World Cup break five points ahead of Manchester City, with Gabriel Jesus their starting striker.

Since the completion of the winter tournament, Eddie Nketiah came into the side and after 11 Premier League games, the gap to Manchester City remains five points despite a disappointing defeat to their title rivals in February - a testament to how good a job Nketiah has done since coming into the team.

Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard were on the scoresheet with Gabriel Martinelli scoring twice as Mikel Arteta's men opened up a five-point gap to title rivals Manchester City. The clash with Everton was Arsenal's game in hand over City and the victory sets them up nicely for the month of March where they welcome three bottom half teams to Emirates Stadium.

Gary Neville has provided more clarity on why he thinks Manchester City will win the Premier League title and how Arsenal's "desperate" celebrations could cost them. The Gunners secured a dramatic late win against Aston Villa to end a barren run of four games without a victory and Mikel Arteta's men have followed up that triumph with another two commanding victories.

After conceding two against Villa, Arsenal have looked far more assured defensively in recent outings keeping back-to-back clean sheets against Leicester and Everton. Heading back to the victory in the Midlands, a late Emi Martinez own goal sparked bedlum in the away end and on the pitch for the Arsenal stars.

However, to Neville, those celebrations were a little over the top. Speaking to The Overlap, via Metro, Neville admitted: "We have this little [WhatsApp] group on Sky and obviously they know that I’ve nailed my colours to the mast that City are going to win the league and I’ve been getting a lot of stick from Arsenal fans.

Arsenal star Bukayo Saka hit double figures for goals this season following his opener in the Gunners' commanding 4-0 victory against Everton in the Premier League. A third consecutive win has firmly given Mikel Arteta's men the title advantage over Manchester City with five points now separating the two teams.

Saka recently told the club that he wants to stay as the Gunners close in on securing a new contract for the Hale End graduate, football.london understands.

Prior to the major contract breakthrough, European champions Real Madrid were keeping a close eye on Saka with Carlo Ancelotti asking bosses at Los Blancos to pursue the England international, according to TEAMtalk.

Saka put in yet another hugely impressive display grabbing an assist alongside his goal to help Arsenal move five points clear at the top. That performance could have alerted Real Madrid further and Saka could also one day be tempted by a move to the Spanish capital.

Aaron Ramsdale has delivered a positive update on Bukayo Saka's contract. The Arsenal stopper had a quiet night as the Gunners claimed a 4-0 victory over Everton on Wednesday.

At the other end of the pitch though it was his England teammate Saka who broke the deadlock after a difficult opening 40 minutes for Mikel Arteta's men. The 21-year-old winger now has 10 Premier League goals for the season, and Arsenal are unsurprisingly keen to tie him down to a new contract.

His current deal is set to expire in the summer of 2024, although football.london understands that the Gunners are close to agreeing a new long term contract with the Hale Ender. And now Ramsdale has given his opinion on the unfolding negotiations.

Arsenal are said to be monitoring Celta Vigo midfielder Gabri Veiga and the Gunners now know how much he could cost if they green light a move...

Declan Rice will likely dominate the transfer speculation world in the coming months with many clubs very interested in acquiring his services. Chelsea looked to be the main suitors, but Arsenal are now firmly in that battle with Rice viewed as their priority summer signing, as football.london understands.

The Gunners made several attempts to sign a number of different midfielders in the January transfer window before settling on Chelsea star Jorginho. An approach was made for Martin Zubimendi but football.london understands Real Sociedad were adamant he was not leaving. Towards the end of the window, attention swiftly turned to Brighton star Moises Caicedo, but Arsenal saw several offers swiftly rejected.

Alongside Chelsea, Manchester United and now Manchester City could be in the summer race, with a midfield clear out expected at the latter which could open the door for a Rice arrival. However, the Gunners look to hold a 'secret weapon' in the transfer battle.

Martin Odegaard ended his minor goal drought of seven games in Arsenal's 4-0 Premier League victory against Everton on Wednesday night, where his goal celebration caught the eye. A third consecutive victory saw the Gunners extend their lead over Manchester City at the top to five points with 13 games to play.

Prior to Odegaard's strike, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli both grabbed goals just before half-time to put Mikel Arteta's side in control at Emirates Stadium. Leandro Trossard continued his contributions to goals as he set up Odegaard for a simple close-range finish in the second half before Martinelli sealed the victory with 10 minutes to play.

"He has first got to focus on West Ham and doing well for the rest of the season," Keane said. "But I don’t think he has been great this season, I don’t think he has kicked on for all the talk there has been about him - he needs to do a lot more.

"He doesn’t score enough goals or get enough assists. I have been a fan of him, he is always fit, but I just want a little bit more from him. There is talk of him leaving for big money and competing with teams for trophies, and he needs to do a lot more, it is as simple as that.

"Sometimes I see him play at West Ham, and he goes through the motions and he needs to do a lot more to match the top midfielders in the country."

Arsenal opened up a five-point gap at the top of the Premier League table to Manchester City with a dominant victory at Emirates Stadium against Everton. Mikel Arteta's men scored four goals without reply in their game in hand over City giving themselves a major advantage in the title race.

A tense opening 40 minutes was quickly eradicated by two quick-fire goals from Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli before half time. The Gunners then picked up where they left off in the second half with Martin Odegaard scoring for the first time since the North London Derby in mid-January, and Martinelli grabbing a second and Arsenal's fourth with 10 minutes left to play.

Despite Arsenal's dominance at home and Everton's frailties at the back, this was a huge test for Arteta and his players. Less than a month ago, the Gunners lost to Everton at Goodison Park in Sean Dyche's first game in charge but there was absolutely zero sign of that happening again as the league leaders reached 60 points after just 25 games.

Following their recent wobble, it is now three consecutive wins for Arsenal and it would absolutely be fair to say their title destiny is in their hands. Here is how the National media reacted to the Gunners latest triumph.

Bukayo Saka was in fine form once again last night as Arsenal strode to victory in the Premier League against Everton. The Hale End grad moved to double figures for the season which prompted Jay Bothroyd to make an interesting claim regarding Saka, Real Madrid and the Ballon d'Or.

Having missed the last 13 Arsenal games in a row after undergoing knee surgery at the beginning of December, Gabriel Jesus is nearing the end of the rehabilitation phase.

The Brazilian delighted Gunners supporters on Tuesday evening by taking to his social media platforms to effectively reveal how close he is to being available for selection once again. Uploading an image of him in full training gear at the club's London Colney base with the caption that read: "Step by step" accompanied by a muscle, prayer hands and football emoji.

Jesus being back on the grass with the ball at his feet is not only a huge boost for Arsenal with five games to negotiate in the next fortnight, but it's also the latest positive step in his bid to return to first-team action after what Mikel Arteta said about the 25-year-old last week.

You must be delighted with that performance

I am really happy as it was the game we had in hand against an opponent that we knew would make life really difficult for us. We experienced that at Goodison. We started the game with some frustration and not really understanding what we had to do and allowed them to run in certain transitions

But after 25 minutes we started to get much better and the timing of the two goals was key. We needed a magic moment there and Alex produced that. And then the team grew especially with Thomas as Jorginho was not feeling good today. When he came on he really gave some presence and some stability to the team and I think the second half was superb.

How pleased are you with the response after City?

Everton midfielder Amadou Onana, who has been linked with Arsenal and Chelsea, has admitted he hopes to one day for one of the biggest clubs in the world.

When asked by SoFoot where he sees himself in five years, Onana said: “I see myself having had a lot of life experiences, which will have made me learn a lot about human beings in general, as well as about myself.

“I see myself, God willing, at one of the biggest clubs recognised worldwide.”

According to The Times, Arsenal have made West Ham captain Declan Rice their priority target ahead of the summer transfer window.

football.london reported earlier this year that the Gunners were very keen to prise Rice away from the Hammers at the end of the current campaign.

What a way to start the morning! A reminder of last night's dominating victory...
