Neither Tottenham or Arsenal have made ideal starts to this new Premier League campaign.

But you'd expect all will be forgiven if they can manage a win at the weekend over their fiercest rivals.

While they are unlikely to mount a serious challenge for the league title this season, both still possess some real talent in their squads.

But who would get into a combined XI of both teams? Let's have a look ahead of Sunday's north London derby and picked the team below...

GK: Hugo Lloris (Tottenham)

It would be harsh not to include Hugo Lloris in this team. Bar the odd mistake, the Tottenham goalkeeper has proven himself to be a safe pair of hands through the years.

He remains an integral part of Tottenham's side and is up there with the best shot-stoppers in the league. Bernd Leno has vastly improved and looks more assured in himself, but doesn't quite get the nod here.

RB Ainsley Maitland-Niles (Arsenal)

Maitland-Niles has adjusted to the position well and is a fairly consistent performer. Kyle Walker-Peters still looks a tad too raw at times and has had one or two panicky moments already.

CB Toby Alderweireld (Tottenham)

The Belgium centre half's future may have come into question but there's no doubt that Tottenham are a better side with him in the team.

Davinson Sanchez is a good defender and has all the attributes to excel, but at times, Alderweireld has carried him and deserves his spot in this side.

CB Sokratis (Arsenal)

Sokratis had a pretty average first campaign in England but has started the season strongly. His experience has shone through recently and he is a key figure in the Arsenal dressing room.

LB Danny Rose (Tottenham)

Danny Rose is a rarity in these modern times. He is one of few full-backs who can be just as influential going forward as he can be at the back.

LM Lucas Moura (Tottenham)

The Brazilian's growing importance to this Tottenham side was highlighted last season.

Moura has begun this term in similarly impressive fashion and netted in their 2-2 draw away at Premier League champions Manchester City earlier this month.

CM Harry Winks (Tottenham)

Winks, 23, has seen his continuing emergence as a midfield force at Tottenham rewarded with a call-up to Gareth Southgate's England squad this week - and will be looking to further prove his mettle in the derby on Sunday.

CM Dani Ceballos (Arsenal)

Dani Ceballos has slotted into Arsenal's midfield well and is their creative hub in the middle of the park.

RM Nicolas Pepe (Arsenal)

Pepe has already shown glimpses of what he's capable of by becoming the first man to dribble past Virgil van Dijk in the Premier League in 539 games and will no doubt be a key performer for Unai Emery's men this season.

ST Harry Kane (Tottenham)

Harry Kane is their talisman and has already started this season with two goals from three games.

He will certainly be the biggest attacking threat to Arsenal on Sunday and you'd be a brave man to bet against him scoring. Kane has nine in nine in the north London derby and I'm sure few would argue with his selection here.

ST Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang (Arsenal)

Aubameyang has picked up where he left off last season and has already hit the back of the net two times in three games.

Alexandre Lacazette links up well with his strike partner but does't have the same deadliness in front of goal, which is why he misses out and Aubameyang is in.
