With the departure of Paulinho as the Brazilian returned to China, Barcelona had a void in midfield that was filled in the shape of Arturo Vidal, who arrived at the Camp Nou in what was one of the summer's more surprising moves.
The Chilean midfielder spoke to Mundo Deportivo and discussed his ambitions for the coming season, for which he has his eyes set on success in Europe.
"My favourite title is the Champions League," he said.
"I know Barcelona have won it on other occasions but I want to win it now - I want to win it all."
Vidal went on to talk about missed opportunities at Bayern Munich and how he regrets not having won the tournament in Bavaria.
"With VAR, Bayern would have two more Champions League titles."

with var Bayern might get past real but don't forget they met in the quarter and semi final. there's absolutely no garuntee they will beat the remaining strong teams, especially Liverpool last year

Anyone who says Liverpool can beat Bayern should switch sport to hockey or something. When in form, Bayern has the tied best back line in the world. Alaba, Boateng, Hummels and Kimmich. 2 of these players were missing and they kept Ronaldo quiet all game. imagine all 4 at the back then 0 goals conceded. Also neuer wasn't there against real who beat Liverpool. the best keeper in the world and possibly the best back line in the world when all fit. Bayern are one of the 4 giants that challenge alongside Barca, juve and obviously Real. I've never seen a team as perfect as Bayern where every position has an amazing player and even the subs are good. Only Madrid and Barca beats them in squad depth.

Bayern is good team they could have win but when it comes to positive result they failed to do it. aurturo is one of the victim of real Madrid, thats why he is crying for it. A player can give his comment but instead they have to improve the game.

when Bayern is in full strength they are one of the best team in Europe, but let's stick to the point here. with var, they will get past real in both year, but it will not prevent the long term injuries suffered by their key players. a Bayern team without boateng, neuer, robben would struggle against Liverpool.
They lucked out man. The only challenging team they faced is city and even City are really only big on the domestic level but European level they aren't much compared to the other teams. They're really more of a strong team on paper like psg but in actual ucl experience they're miles behind other teams like Bayern, Juve and both the la liga dominators...
