Asensio may have ruptured ACL in left knee & could be out for the whole season

Marco Asensio has ruptured his ACL in his left knee, according to multiple reports.

Real Madrid will run more medical tests to determine the length of his spell on the sidelines, but that's likely a season-ending injury.

After the match, Zidane also insisted that Asensio’s injury would not affect Madrid trying to sell Bale.

"It has nothing to do with one thing. We are all touched by Marco, hopefully as little as possible, just that,” said Zidane.

“We're a little worried (by Asensio). It's the knee. He went straight to the hospital to get tested and see. But it looks bad. It's the bad thing of the day for us. because we lose a player and we are a little touched, yes.”
