Atletico Madrid are facing an attacking dilemma

When everyone is fit, Diego Simeone has an embarrassment of riches up front.

Alvaro Morata, Diego Costa, Joao Felix and Angel Correa are battling for three places between them in El Cholo's line-up.

It's a dilemma that the Atletico Madrid boss hasn't faced too often this season, with all four being fit at the same time in just eight of the club's 38 games so far.

At the start of the season, it looked as if Atletico's three attacking positions would pick themselves, but the emergence of Correa as a key player in recent months has thrown the selection wide open.

With Jan Oblak in goal, Kieran Trippier, Stefan Savic, Felipe and Renan Lodi in defence and Saul, Thomas Partey and Koke in midfield, there are three spots left in the team.

During the eight games where each of Morata, Costa, Joao Felix and Correa were fit, there were two favoured combinations.

Costa and Morata started up front together three times, with Joao Felix playing on the right side of midfield more often than not and Correa being left on the bench.

The partnership between Costa and Joao Felix was also used three times, with Correa starting on the right and Morata being left on the bench.

However, Morata-Correa and Morata-Joao Felix combinations have also been used at some point this season.

Once the LaLiga season resumes, Simeone has some tricky decisions to make.
