A curious incident took place at the Camp Nou after Barcelona's 3-0 victory over Elche on Wednesday, when Edgar Badia asked Lionel Messi for his shirt.
The Argentine took of his top and gave it to the Elche goalkeeper, who admitted with a post on Twitter that he was surprised when the Barcelona captain asked him for his shirt too.
TV cameras captured the moment of Badia's hilarious reaction and the video went viral on social media after the match.
"Yes, I was surprised," admitted Badia on Twitter.
"But do you know what I was thinking despite the result?
"That this team is going to be saved. As a TEAM, as a GROUP.
"We will continue to take steps forward and improve and compete against any rival.
"Great first half yesterday! Let's do this."
