A lot has happened since October 5, when Real Madrid defeated Granada 4-2 and when Gareth Bale made his last appearance on the pitch at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.
There have been injuries and there has been controversy since then, but now the Welshman is fit again and ready to feature against Real Sociedad on Saturday, which will be 49 days after the Granada victory.
He took part in training for the second day in a row on Friday and was in a jovial mood during the 15 minutes that were open to the press.
Not able to train, though, and not available for the Real Sociedad test are the injured Lucas Vazquez, Nacho, Marco Asensio and James Rodriguez.
