Barcelona lost 1-0 to Athletic Club in the quarter-finals of the Copa del Rey thanks to a last-minute goal from Inaki Williams, yet Jordi Alba was asked post-match about the incident regarding Lionel Messi and Eric Abidal from Tuesday night.
Following Barca's 1-0 loss to Athletic Club in the Copa del Rey quarter-finals on Thursday, Alba joined Messi in calling out Abidal for creating unnecessary further drama.
"This club gets enough sh*t thrown at it from the outside so we shouldn't be throwing sh*t at ourselves," Alba told reporters.
"Abidal was a player, he is loved by the fans and that's why he should know what it's like inside the dressing room and how players feel."

No creativity in midfield, sergi Roberto on the right, Messi in false 9, what's wrong with griezman... We all see how sergi Roberto performed very bad against Valencia and they can still let someone like that join the attack

it's the senior lot, they think they are above everyone and this attitude will spoil the whole team, in fact it's already to the core

abidal has every right to complain because we all know Alba ,pique ,and Messi are missing in important away matches. technically they are best players at their position but mentally they don't have enough confidence to display same performance how they perform in camp NAU.

This is why I loved Valverde in such situations. He always had the Barca fans and player's back for poor him to be blamed, now they don't know who to turn to and blame....... Should we say Messi or its just more drama am creating
