Barcelona vice-president Jordi Cardoner has denied reports that the club are attempting to lure Neymar back to Catalonia after he left them for Paris Saint-Germain little over a year ago.
The Los Cules chief, speaking to Radio Barcelona, didn't close the door on a future move for the Brazilian star though.
"Nobody on the Barcelona board is planning for the possibility of getting Neymar back," he said.
"Today, it's a question that cannot be answered because nobody has assessed it."
"It was he who decided to leave. It could have been that we didn't believe in him then and now want to bring him back, but that's not the case.
"Anyway, if the situation arose, we would have to discuss it with the board, but until now that hasn't been the case."

This is what I kinda expected. He is a talented player but I feel he leans a LOT towards fame and money. But right now the 1st criteria being affected he is looking for a change of club again. It would be lovely to have him back I guess but now since that's not happening there are chances he might gos to Madrid but who knows. But I just hope if he changes to Madrid, he sticks there and doesn't go changing his club all over again. He is creating a bad role model of his self to the younger growing generation. In my opinion he is acting very childish...but who am I to judge. And finally let me make myself clear that I have no hate for him and I always want to see him succeed and the above mentioned are some of his draw backs according to me. Neymar thought himself as a shadow of Messi just because of Media Criticism. But when Ronaldinho was in Bercalona, Messi took Ronaldinho as his teacher and brother and never thought he has to show better performance than Ronaldinho. But in case of neymar, it was different. He always wanted to do better than Messi and Jealous. I think if he would do the same Messi did with Ronaldinho, Maybe Neymar Could performe like Messi. Neymar is 6 years Junior than M.esi. He had a great possibilities and even he was improving faster where Messi was sacrificing penalties, freekicks and corners to improve him. This is what Ronaldinho Did. This is the big difference between Messi and Nymar. Messi tried to Make Neymar better and oneday maybe best. But neymar wanted to Cross Messi and showed his selfishness and greed. After joining PSG, we saw his clasehes with cavani for free kicks and penalties. None can guide Neymar like Messi did. LM10 was more than a playmates. Now neymar Misses it day by day. Besides, Bercalona fans were just started thinking Neymar as their one of the most wanted and expected idol. But he left in the middle although the contract was at least till 2020. it was a great loss for Bercalona. And They were undefeated for 33 matches even without him.
