FC Barcelona unveiled their second kit for the 2023/24 season on Wednesday with a groundbreaking design that pays homage to Johan Cruyff, the forerunner of the club's style of play. Taking as a reference the shirt worn by the Blaugrana as their second kit during the 1970s, the colour white is the protagonist of the kit, which retains the blue and white stripes and incorporates them into the sleeve.

In the same vein, and just as the home shirt refers to the spirit of the first Barça Femenino team that played the first match of its history at the Spotify Camp Nou in 1970, it is the pioneering figure of Cruyff that inspires the new launch. Xavi Hernandez's side will unveil the new jersey in the early hours of Thursday morning (04.30 CET) against Arsenal in the first friendly of their tour of the United States.

The new shirt can be purchased from Wednesday 26 July through the club's e-commerce and in all Barça Stores: Spotify Camp Nou, Canaletes, Paseo de Gracia, Sagrada Familia, Westfield La Maquinista, Parc Central Tarragona, La Roca Village, El Poble Espanyol, Barcelona Airport T1 and T2, Arenas Shopping Centre, the Madrid shop, in Palma, Playa de Aro, Salou and on the University ring road, and also in the new Maremagnum shop.

The kit is presented under the campaign 'Here to lead the way', promoted by the club when launching the first shirt for the 2023/24 season, and which reflects one of the pillars that make Barça a unique club in the world: that of being leaders in everything they do. Thus, just as they have done in the past, FC Barcelona's young players continue to lead the way and are the ones chosen to lead the way in the coming years.
