Benjamin Mendy hid his face as he arrived for Manchester City training on Friday morning.

The left-back was spotted at a Manchester night club at 3.30am on Saturday - the same day Pep Guardiola's side beat Fulham 2-0.

Mendy was left out of the squad for the match at Craven Cottage but he will not face any action for partying in the early hours of the morning at Manchester’s Club Liv.

The France international was driven to the Etihad Campus and put his cap over his face to try and avoid being identified.

Mendy has been training for a number of weeks after battling persistent knee injuries and still trained on Saturday after enjoying a night out.

The 24-year-old's manager Pep Guardiola insisted that he is not bothered by the incident.

‘They are old enough to know what they have to do, I'm not his father,’ the City manager said.

‘I would prefer him to sleep earlier but I don't control the players in that situation. I'm a relaxed guy. It might not look like it but I sleep quite well.’

Sergio Aguero and Raheem Sterling were also pictured driving to work ahead of City's FA Cup semi-final clash with Brighton on Saturday.

Bernardo Silva, who has been one of City's consistent performers this season, also arrived to training.

City right-back Kyle Walker was photographed driving to the Etihad Campus as he looks to cement a starting place at Wembley.
