Despite the setting his sights on a new challenge and reported interest from Real Madrid, the France international looks set to stay at Old Trafford
Real Madrid have been busy in the first few weeks of the summer transfer market, adding several eye-catching acquisitions including Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic and Ferland Mendy.
The latest transfer odds suggest that Los Blancos are unlikely to be bringing Paul Pogba to the Bernabeu, though.
On July 9, the midfielder was odds-on to swap Manchester for Madrid after comments from his agent, Mina Raiola, suggested the Premier League club know of his desire to leave and had done for some time.
With a move failing to materialise so far and under three weeks left until the English transfer window closes, 888Sport are just 1/4 (1.25) that Pogba remains at Manchester United for at least the first half of the upcoming campaign.
Madrid are still seen as the most likely suitors if a move is to take place, priced at 6/4 (2.50), while Juventus are 6/1 (7.0) to bring the France international back to Turin.
One man who does appear on his way out of Old Trafford is Romelu Lukaku. United rejected a bid of £54 million from Inter but Antonio Conte remains hopeful that the 26-year-old striker will be at the San Siro before the window shuts and the odds suggest the former Chelsea boss could get his man.
Having given Marcus Rashford a bumper new contract this summer, Lukaku's future at Old Trafford is in serious doubt. The Belgium international scored 12 goals in 32 Premier League appearances last term and has yet to be involved in the club's pre-season outings.
It's 1/5 (1.20) with 888Sport that Lukaku is an Inter player by September 3, the date by which European clubs have to complete their business.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has cited fitness issues as the reasons for the striker's absence in recent weeks and the online bookmaker go 7/5 (2.40) that he remains at Manchester United.
Juventus (8/1) and Atletico Madrid (33/1) are also quoted by 888Sport but it appears a question of if Inter and United can come to an agreement that determines where Lukaku is plying his trade during the 2019-20 season.
United get their league campaign underway against Chelsea on August 10. The Red Devils are 5/4 (2.25) favourites to kick-off with a victory on home soil.
