Phil Kitromilides backed winners in both Juventus and Lazio's opening matches of the season and he thinks there should be goals in Turin on Saturday

The opening game of the season for the Italian champions provided plenty of excitement as Juventus scored two late goals to salvage a dramatic 3-2 win at Chievo.

That game saw Cristiano Ronaldo make his debut for the Turin outfit, although the 33-year-old failed to mark the occasion with a goal, so both player and team will be hoping to improve this weekend when they welcome Lazio to the north.

The Romans endured a disappointing 2-1 defeat to Napoli in their opening match, although their last trip to the Allianz Stadium saw them record a memorable 2-1 win back in October 2017.

Juventus only lost two home matches in Serie A last season and dabblebet price them at 4/11 (1.44) to pick up three points on Saturday afternoon.

Lazio enjoyed an impressive away record last term, losing fewer matches on the road than at the Stadio Olimpico, btu Simone Inzanghi's men are out at 8/1 (9.00) to record a second successive victory in Turin while the draw is offered at 4/1 (5.00).

Ronaldo is in line to start his first home match for the Scudetto holders while defender Mattia De Sciglio is pushing for a return from the injury which kept him out of the matchday squad at Chievo.

Lazio, for their part, remain without summer signing Valon Berisha with the Kosovo international midfielder injured.

Juve were pushed closer than they would have expected in their opening game and Lazio should also provide them were a competitive clash.

The Biancocelesti have scored in 23 of their last 24 away matches in Serie A, while Juventus have netted in each of their last 19 matches against Lazio.

There is every chance therefore that we see goals at both ends and the visitors should be able to contribute to a high scoring encounter, considering they were the top scorers in Serie A last season and their matches averaged 3.6 goals.

Backing over 2.5 goals to be scored is offered at 4/6 (1.65) although more tempting is taking the price of evens (2.00) for both teams to score, which has a great chance of paying out given the respective sides' scoring records.
