Blackpool owner Owen Oyston has been threatened with the prospect of jail in his never-ending legal saga with former director Valeri Belokon.
Sportsmail understands Oyston was delivered a penal notice by Belokon's lawyers this week after allegedly failing to disclose information on a number of assets set for auction to cover a huge bill owed to the Latvian.
They include a number of family properties, as well as shares in Blackpool FC Properties, the club's holding company.
Oyston said: 'We will comply with the (court) order. I don't know what the big issue or concern is.'
Belokon is still waiting for around £25million after a High Court judge found he was 'unfairly prejudiced' by Oyston.
Justice Marcus Smith ruled Oyston had 'illegitimately stripped' the Seasiders of assets after promotion to the Premier League in 2010.
Oyston, vilified by the majority of Blackpool supporters, stands accused of 'disobeying' a court order passed down in July and has not passed on vital documentation required to sell the assets.
The 84-year-old is believed to have missed Blackpool's last three matches, all victories, after previously attending all of them until the win at Gillingham on November 6.
Oyston also unusually cancelled a number of meetings at Bloomfield Road last Friday.
