Sergio Busquets, one of Barcelona's four captains, has spoken about Ernesto Valverde's decision to extend his contract with the Catalan club.
Busquets was speaking to the media in a press conference ahead of Tuesday's Champions League game against Lyon.
"We are really happy with Valverde and we all wanted him to renew," the midfielder said. "He can relax knowing that he will still be here and we're delighted."

Por otro lado, en cuanto a su presencia en las redes sociales, Sergio Busquets indicó que "los tiempos avanzan y por la responsabilidad que tengo en el Barça y la selección me han hecho dar este paso. La gente de mi alrededor también, pero no seré un kamikaze. Las utilizaré bien, como debe ser".

the senior players at Barcelona are happy with valverde because the all get playing time but the won't be at Barça forever.valverde needs to start grooming a younger side for the future and make the hard decision of reducing the playing time of some of the senior players and giving more chance to the younger one just the same way guadiola did when he kept the likes of ronaldinho, deco,eto,toure,maquez on the bench and gave Pedro,busquet,pique and even Iniesta and messi more playing time
