Hakan Calhanoglu is hopeful of Inter Milan teammate Milan Skriniar signing a new contract.
The defender is in new contract talks with the Nerazzurri.
Calhanoglu said: "Does Skriniar stay at Inter? I hope so. He is a great player, and is one of the team leaders with (Samir) Handanovic.
"He will decide with the club, but I hope he will remain."
The midfielder added: "Have I already received a call from (director Piero) Ausilio to renew my contract? No, not yet. I want to talk about it, I'm waiting for him to call me."
