Joao Cancelo is set to make his Juventus return in Italian Super Cup against Milan.
Joao Cancelo has undergone a medial selective meniscectomy on his right knee with full success and Allegri has confirmed the Portuguese full-back will return early in 2019.
Now Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Cancelo is expected to make his return on January 16, when Juventus face Milan in the Italian Super Cup.
De Sciglio has been handed starting role in Cancelo's absence who helped Juventus become the team with most clean sheets in 2018 so far.

I think Cancelo is far better than Kimmich. His wonderful game and he should make good combination with Ronaldo as Marcelo did so that they both can win trophies for Portugal as well as for Juventus. If he continues doing hardwork and performing well than I will prefer him ahead of Carvajal and the best right back Dani Alves.

He doesn’t have as much of an attacker’s mindset compared to Cancelo. But you’re right, Kimmich is still quite productive in the final third. Which to me makes it clear he’s better than Cancelo and by a decent margin.

Cancelo in this form comes close to Kimmich though Walker is not even close to Carvajal rofl. why is he not close? Walker has all the physical tools but shows poor judgement a lot of the time and is often caught out of position. Hes still easily a top 10 RB

Juve fans, is there still any interest in Darmian? Obviously inferior to Cancelo by some way, but is he still in demand for rotation? There's De Sciglio for rotation on the right and Spinazzola on the left, I doubt Juventus will spend 20m on Darmian
