Kelly Cates exacted some sweet revenge over Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville by walking away from the pair during live television coverage.
Viewers had widely mocked her punditry colleagues for abruptly turning their backs on the presenter and comically marching away from her after Sky's game of Southampton vs Liverpool on April 5.
And as a nod to the taunts online, the team concocted a plan for Cates to get her own back following Leicester's defeat by Newcastle on April 12.
Cates retweeted the footage on Tuesday and the exchange went as follows.
Neville: 'United vs City has got to be one of the biggest derbies in ages.
Carragher: 'I think that game definitely decides the title.
Neville: 'What night is it Kelly?'
Cates (walking away): 'The Manchester derby, Wednesday, 7:00pm on Sky Sports Premier League, don't you dare turn your back.'
In the original incident, Cates had qualified that both Carragher and Neville would be heading over to chat with Saints boss Ralph Hasenhuttl.
But the angle of the camera and awkward execution with the presenter still in shot on her own in the background, made for brilliant comedic viewing, particularly as Cates had asked the question and both men discussed the answer without her.
Sky have now cleverly used their own blunder to promote Wednesday's massive Manchester derby with enormous title implications.

I love the fact that Neville turns towards Carragher with the "Can she do that??" akward turn, made it so satisfying.

Kelly is a great anchor. She's knowledgable and got charisma. Can't believe she originated from Kenny Dalglish's ballsack though.

I really like her as a host. She’s natural and has good chemistry with those two. Great work by Sky to push her.

Well it is getting silly now - the other night Liverpool's post-match review was played out by two women (the anchor some other woman and Souness!) Doubtless Grahame didn't mind but it looked utterly bizarre.

Has anyone else noticed that it seems that now there has to be at least one female on any show talking about football It looks like the feminists have got their way but it's to the detriment of actual football players who've played at the highest level and I'm not referring to amateur womens' football that hardly anyone watches. This sort of petulance from a woman who feels she should always be centre stage is what we should expect now. The fact is that even though Kelly is a good presenter she has a fraction of the knowledge of Carragher and Neville. People should be appointed on merit and ability NOT due to gender.
