Chelsea have announced they will play Austrian champions Red Bull Salzburg in a pre-season friendly this summer.
The Premier League side will travel to the 30,000-capacity Red Bull Arena on July 31, with a kick-off time yet to be confirmed.
It will give Maurizio Sarri's squad a chance to play against fellow Champions League opposition ahead of the new campaign.
The friendly will follow the club's trip to Japan, where they will play against J League winners Kawasaki Frontale in Yokohama on July 19. Chelsea also meet Barcelona in Saitama on July 23.
