Chelsea midfielder Enzo welcomes the birth of his son ahead of Brentford clash

Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez and partner Valentina Cervantes have announced the birth of their son.

The Argentine posted a series of photos on Instagram with son Benjamin alongside his daughter on the eve of the west London showdown against Brentford.

Fernandez declared his 'love' for his newborn on social media as he was all smiles alongside his daughter Olivia.

'Benjamin Fernandez, 26/10/23. I love you forever,' he wrote on Instagram.

The 22-year-old has also updated his bio on Instagram to 'Olivia and Benjamin's daddy' with a white heart emoji.

Meanwhile, Fernandez's partner Valentina took to instagram to thank him for his support on the journey.

She posted a photo of her holding the new-born all smiles alongside him, captioning it: 'Thank you for accompanying me in the best way I love you'.

The newborn will see Fernandez's family size increase, having welcomed daughter Olivia into the world back in 2020.

He is expected to feature in the London derby against Brentford as Chelsea look to continue their upturn in form.

After a slow start to the season, Mauricio Pochettino's side are now unbeaten in four heading into Saturday's match at Stamford Bridge.
