David Luiz welcomed his suited and booted Chelsea colleagues to his new Mayfair restaurant following their end-of-season awards bash on Thursday night.

Babbo - which Luiz owns in partnership with compatriot Willian - opened to much fanfare last month and the plush Italian eatery provided the perfect venue for a post-ceremony meal.

Taking to social media on Friday, Luiz thanked his fellow Chelsea players for attending and posted a picture of them  enjoying the festivities in central London along with head chef Nicola Cariglia, who said it was an 'honour' to cook for the party.

N'Golo Kante was named as Chelsea's Player of the Year on Thursday, as the French midfielder continues to be recognised for his play in what has been a disappointing season for the club so far.

Willian manage to scoop two awards on a successful night, as he was voted by his peers as their Players' Player of the Year and his goal against Brighton was deemed to be Goal of the Season.

Thursday evening's event saw the west London club come together to celebrate and acknowledge the team's achievements, while a number of celebrities and staff also attended the ceremony.

As the night began, onlookers were able to spot their favourite players who all dressed to impress on a night of celebrations.

As the Chelsea first-team arrived, David Luiz was first to be seen having his picture taken on the red carpet as he posed for photographers with his cheeky smile.

The Chelsea Ladies posed with their FA Cup outside of the event while the Under 18s turned out in full-force.

Chelsea fan and 'Lean In 15' creator Joe Wicks was pictured alongside Kante and Eden Hazard with a number of celebrities also attending the event in  London.

Willian was the first to pick up the  awards with his goal of the season while Reece James was awarded Chelsea's Academy Player of the Year gong, with the 18-year-old seen as one for the future.

Ladies' Players' Player of the Year award went to Fran Kirby for inspiring Chelsea's Ladies to another trophy this campaign.

Andreas Christensen was the club's Young Player of the Year after he seamlessly fitted into the Chelsea backline in place of John Terry.

Willian picked up his second award of the night when his team-mates voted him as their Player's Player of the Year before Kante wrapped things up in west London.
