The young midfielder joined Chelsea last summer from Aston Villa, signing a six-year contract.
In his debut season, the 19-year-old midfielder made 15 appearances in the Chelsea shirt.
However, Sky Italia's Gianluca di Marzio is reporting Chelsea are prepared to sell this summer.
