Cristiano Ronaldo relaxes with Georgina and De Ligt proposes to his partner

With pre-season yet to get underway for most clubs, many players around the world are taking time to relax with their families.

Al-Nassr star Cristiano Ronaldo, for instance, was seen spending time with his partner Georgina Rodriguez and their children.

The former Manchester United and Juventus player is currently in Sardinia.

Ronaldo scored 14 goals in 16 league games after joining Al-Nassr, but his side missed out on the Saudi Pro League title.

There is an increased amount of focus on Saudi Arabian football ahead of the new campaign, with Karim Benzema and N'Golo Kante having joined champions Al-Ittihad, while Edouard Mendy has headed to Al-Ahli and Ruben Neves and Kalidou Koulibaly have signed for Al-Hilal.

Meanwhile, Arsenal midfielder Jorginho attended a wedding with his partner Catherine Harding in Italy.

He captioned his post on Instagram: 'Celebrating love', with Daniele Bellini - the stadium announcer at one of Jorginho's former club's Napoli - getting married to his partner Valentina. Koulibaly was also in attendance at the wedding.

Jorginho has recently been joined at Arsenal by his former Chelsea team-mate Kai Havertz.

Manchester United defender Luke Shaw was seen relaxing with friends in France. He is set to link up with his England colleague Mason Mount at Old Trafford, with the midfielder closing in on a move from Chelsea.

United have agreed a £60m deal for Mount, who will sign a five-year contract worth £250,000-a-week.

Bayern Munich defender Matthijs De Ligt proposed to his girlfriend Annekee Molenaar and was delighted when she said yes.

De Ligt won the Bundesliga title in his first season at Bayern and will be eager for more glory next campaign.
