Luis Suarez is an Uruguayan footballer who plays as a striker for Barcelona. He is often regarded as one of the best players in the world.
Suarez began his career as a youth player for Nacional in 2003. At age 19, he relocated to the Netherlands to play for Groningen, before transferring to Ajax in 2007. He won his first trophy in 2010, the KNVB Cup, finishing the season as the league's top scorer and was named Dutch Footballer of the Year. A year later, he helped Ajax secure the Eredivisie title, and scored his 100th Ajax goal.
In January 2011, Suarez transferred to Liverpool and won the League Cup in his first full season. In 2014, he was named the PFA Players' Player of the Year and the FWA Footballer of the Year as well as winning the Premier League Golden Boot, and sharing the European Golden Shoe with Cristiano Ronaldo before moving to Barcelona in a transfer worth €82.3 million, making him one of the most expensive players in football history.
In his first season at Barcelona, Suarez starred in an attacking trio alongside Messi and Neymar, helping the club win a historic second continental treble of La Liga, the Copa del Rey and the UEFA Champions League. Messi, Suarez, Neymar (dubbed MSN), scored a total of 122 goals that season, the most for an attacking front three in Spanish football history. In his second season at the club, Suarez won his first Pichichi Trophy as well as his second European Golden Shoe, for which he became the first player since 2009 to win both awards other than Messi or Ronaldo. He ended the season with a total of 40 league goals, 14 of which came in his last five matches, and 16 assists, becoming the first player in history to top La Liga in both goals and assists.
Suarez is Uruguay's all-time leading goalscorer who scores 55 goals in his 106 caps. At the 2010 FIFA World Cup, he played an important role in Uruguay's fourth-place finish, scoring three goals, as well as controversially blocking a goal-bound extra time header with his hands during the quarter-final against Ghana.

Luis Suarez is a Pure and top No. 9 from his days in Liverpool...He become more dangerous at Barca..He is consistent striker for Barca..Still he has eager for goals that's why he is 2nd top scorer in Liga...It would be very difficult to replace him for Barca because there are few strikers which can succeed at Camp Nou....Hes 32 already next year Barca should find a successor for Suarez....Because in Football there is most work load on strikers that's why they play their best around 30s....

Suarez is 32 now and no longer the athlete he once was, age catches up with everyone and its slowly catching up with suarez ,he is the best number 9 in the world currently, whether you like it or not because the qualities he has apart from his goal scoring prowess make him invaluable, His understanding with Messi (( their connection is phenomenal and two players of such quality sharing a bond like that spells trouble for any defense. They can find each other virtually without looking)) , He creates goals, his work rate is a bull headed, tenacious and never give up type of player who chases down nearly every ball and creates openings and opportunities with his runs. his decesion making is is the most affected part of suarez’s game he still produces some flashes of brilliance, Suarez’s pace has dropped considerably so young and pacy defenders catch up with him easily when he makes those runs behind the back line, Yes, Suarez is getting old. But he has not lost his edge yet. He is still the best centre forward and returns 20+ goals a season.

Luis Suárez. The man who was involved in the second most goals this year, more than CR7. And he’s won TWO golden boots IN THE LM10 and CR7 ERA!!! He became a well-rounded striker at Liverpool. He has become more mature at Barça. He’s stopped all the dark arts since he moved to Catalonia. He’s won the treble once and almost won the Premier League. He continues to be one of the most overlooked players in the world, but that doesn’t bother him because of his selfless attitude of putting the team first. I give him 3-5 in all categories.
