Dortmund midfielder Delaney picked up a right-ankle injury in Denmark's 1-1 draw with Ireland.
The 28-year-old midfielder was subbed out in the 80th minute as he got an right-ankle injury.
He had attempted to jog on the sideline, but his face suggested he must be substituted.
According to Kicker, Delaney will undergo further medical checks in Dortmund and the coach Favre will know whether he can be available for the Paderborn clash.
