Ousmane Dembele has long been regarded as a special talent, and his frightening potential once again came to the fore on Sunday evening.
The 21-year-old forward scored a sensational winner from range to help Barcelona to a 2-1 Spanish Super Cup win over Sevilla.
It gave the Nou Camp side their first silverware of the season, but it also ended a long-running debate as to whether Dembele is left or right footed.
Seemingly comfortable using either side, some supporters had questioned whether Dembele had a preference for his right or left.
However, after the goal, eagle-eyed fans on social media, quickly pointed out a video from 2016 which shows the player himself clearing up the confusion.
Speaking while at Rennes, Dembele revealed that while he prefers to use his left foot in open play, he regards his right foot as more potent when shooting.
'I'm left-footed', he replied when asked about his favoured foot.
But with the interviewer well aware of his preference to take penalties with his right, Dembele was pressed further on the issue.
'(I take penalties like that because) I shoot better with my right,' he added.
Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde was full of praise for the youngster after his wonder-goal against Sevilla.
The Spanish champions had to come from behind after Pablo Sarabia scored just nine minutes in, but managed to level the game before half-time when Gerard Pique fired a rebound off a Lionel Messi free-kick.
But it was Dembele's stunner into the top corner in the 78th minute which gave Barcelona the hard-fought 2-1 victory and left Valverde happy with his team's performance.
'He (Dembele) is a player with great qualities and today has left us with something to be happy about in a difficult match,' Valverde said.
A big-money signing from Borussia Dortmund last year, the forward's future at the Nou Camp has already been called into question this summer.
Paris Saint-Germain have shown an interest in bringing Dembele to the Parc des Princes this summer, with sporting director Antero Henrique even approaching Barcelona to arrange a deal.
PSG manager Thomas Tuchel wants a reunion with the 21-year-old, who he coached for a season at Borussia Dortmund.
But after giving another tantalising glimpse of his ability for Barcelona on Sunday evening, the odds of the La Liga champions sanctioning a departure for Dembele before the end of the window now seem greater than ever.
And given his latest effort, who can blame them?

I already said that had it not been mbappe...Dembele will be one of les blues finest players....a more talented like cr7....who could shoot with both foots from both long and shot ranges....he is very good and talented...so the likes of Malcolm should be thrown away ..because he won't get enough playing time...unless Dembele is a injured.... below is my predicted barca 11....though I am a real Madrid supporter....but I think the formation below may help Valverde in the upcoming season... ..
