Arsenal fans have taken to social media to show their dismay over their transfer deadline day business, which saw them complete a window where they failed to sign one major player.
Gunners supporters had hoped Mikel Arteta's outfit would be boosted with big arrivals in January as they look to push on to qualify for the Champions League for the first time in six years.
Having scored just one goal in a winless January that saw them embarrassingly knocked out of the FA Cup by Nottingham Forest and the League Cup by Liverpool, it seemed a good sign that the Gunners needed a transfer boost.
Yet it proved a frustrating month for the north London side who were beaten to the signing of striker Dusan Vlahovic from Fiorentina by Juventus.
Even relegation strugglers Newcastle United pipped them to £33million midfielder Bruno Guimaraes from Lyon.
But Gunners supporters have been left up in arms by the notion their side may even have got worse during the window, having also allowed senior players to leave.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for instance was allowed to join Barcelona on a free transfer, and it left one fan shocked having expected the club to sign Ousmane Dembele from the Nou Camp to join up with the former Gunners captain.
TV personality and big Gunners fan Piers Morgan also showed his fury at the business, tweeting 'This is a terrible transfer window for Arsenal.
'One goal in the whole of January and we sell our best striker for NOTHING with no replacement. Madness.'
Another famous fan in radio star Roman Kemp also showed his disappointment, reflecting on it being another frustrating deadline day for Gunners supporters.
Other fans were more keen to focus on staff working behind the scenes by using humour to show their dissatisfaction with the club's lack of action.
Technical director Edu's strategy was made fun of with a five-point plan that made reference to a South Park joke on how to have little idea over how to do business.
While even Arteta was made out to be using a bankruptcy excuse to explain Arsenal's lack of transfer action at his next press conference.

Arsenal showed that they really aren’t serious about winning. If Lacazette gets injured they have essentially no one to play striker. The midfield is average at best. The back line and keeper situations are solid. I don’t think they’ll make the champions league. Maybe not even the Europa league

Arteta "will be" MC coach when Pep leaves. Arsenal will then be a competitor. Why would anyone strengthen a rival?

another 8th position for arsenal. and if they still keep arteta and extended his contract, it will be the biggest joke.
I don't why the board is buying into this Trust the process BS the guy has the least amount of games than any team in the top 6 yet he couldn't even secure 3 points in January

Top four is out of question. Only thin hope on Europa cup. It's time for the young players to buck up. They're are no longer green to the epl though. Martinelli Smith Rowe, Saka and Odegard should now raise up their game and challenge for the remaining cup.

Looking at inconsistencies on Arsenal performance and not even reaping a dime on Auba sale, worst of all no new arrival, it question the ambition of the Arsenal FC I used to know, this consistent frustration is making me lose interest on Football.

Nothing will change leaving of Aubamayang bro, Arsenal will definitely buy a proper striker trust me.
Hopefully bro, wait and see. High quality players should be reluctant to join a club which doesn't have any ambitious spirit. Our wish is that one day we may enjoy the beautiful style of AFC play

You people you make me laugh. With Arteta, Edu Gaspaar and the boss Kronnkee, Arsenal will never come into the big 4. We will suffer uselessly heartache. Let us stop watching Arsenal Fc even we are forever fans of the club and start watching once we heard that those three men left to unknown destination. We are so disappointed. A staff that is not able to bring in new players instead bring out senior players for stubbornness. Sorry our beloved club. We will miss you longer

it's really unexplainable... we needed to re-enforced and we didn't do that .... we needed to show our lads that we're serious and we didn't do that .... HOW can you attract a player with the antics you put forth, who in their right mind would want to come n get that type of treatment... the buzz is "stay away from MA n Arsenal, wtf 😕
