Paris Saint-Germain stars continuously mocked Borussia Dortmund wonderkid Erling Haaland during and after their Champions League win over the Bundesliga side.
Neymar mimicked Haaland's trademark meditation celebration after he opened the scoring at Parc des Princes on Wednesday night and the reason behind it appears to have stemmed from a fake social media post.
Several of PSG's top stars mocked Haaland after the final whistle, on the pitch and in the dressing room, to rub salt into the teenager's wounds.
And it appears PSG's anguish towards Haaland, who scored a brace against the French side in the first leg which Dortmund won 2-1, came after a fake post went viral.
A picture of Haaland with the caption 'my city, not yours' with 'Paris' handwritten across his jumper was purportedly taken from his Snapchat account.
It is understood the post is in fact fake so PSG's anger towards the Norwegian is unjustified.
It is also claimed PSG's players found Dortmund arrogant after their first-leg defeat which added fuel to the fire.
Haaland posted pictures of his celebration along with the caption 'ZENsational win' following the first leg home victory.
Neymar highlighted the animosity when he dived to head in Angel Di Maria's inswinging corner and celebrated by sitting down in front of the Dortmund bench, crossing his legs and performing a meditative pose.
He later posted an image of the celebration on his Instagram account with thew caption 'Paris out city, not yours' - the same words as what Haaland was supposed to have published.

If I was Haaland I would feel proud of my self. Bringing the whole of PSG to imitate my celebration! It means he hurt them hard anyway. Paris is for him!

Shame on PSG, he is only a kid and yes he scored twise against you in the first leg. The kid is pure talent and there is no reason for mocking him, he can celebrate the win and his goals in any way he wants. His celebration didn’t mean to offend anyone anyway, I don’t know what their problem is. Apparently that picture is fake, how are they so stupid...
