EPL WAGS'll be shouting from the stands on the final day of the football season

Cometh the hour, cometh the WAGS. In the eyes of many football fans, the Premier League title is already a given - with only a shock defeat at home to West Ham likely to stop Manchester City from taking the trophy from Arsenal - but it's still set to be a nerve-jangling day for the wives and girlfriends of players in both clubs.

The matches take place at 4pm, with both Arsenal, who play Everton, and Man City playing at their home stadiums.

While the latest generation of WAGS might have learned lessons from their predecessors - including Coleen Rooney, Rebekah Vardy, Victoria Beckham and Cheryl - that a lower profile equals an easier life when you're paired up with a footballing icon, they'll be out in force on the final day of the season.

When Mail Sport asked Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta about the importance of footballers and their partners socialising together, he was clearly in favour, saying: ‘We have a lot of foreign players that obviously they have their families, wives, girlfriends around and they need support.

‘They need to build those friendships and those close circles around them. It gives you a much bigger sense of belonging somewhere when you really feel that you are part of something.'

Here, MailOnline looks at the very glamorous women who'll be taking their seats at either the Emirates or Ethiad this afternoon for the final day of the season.

MANCHESTER CITY

ERLING HAALAND AND ISABEL JOHANSEN

Haaland has remained Manchester City's goal-scoring machine in his latest season for the club - but his heart is very much in his native Norway.

He's been dating girlfriend Isabel Haugseng Johansen since their teenage years and she now lives in Manchester with the striker.

Described as a 'beautiful, intelligent, sociable, outdoorsy' schoolgirl, the 19-year-old left behind her life in a quiet corner of Scandinavia to be at the side of the newest colossus of world sport.

Johansen was given a leave of absence to study remotely by Brynne Upper Secondary School in south-west Norway ahead of her boyfriend's club scooping the Premier League title.

The move prompted Isabel's friends to describe her as 'the luckiest girl in Brynne'.

The 19-year-old is not only involved in football because of her partner, but is a footballer herself.

In fact, the pair are believed to have met through the sport, with Erling joining local team Bryne FK when he was just five years old.

PHIL FODEN AND REBECCA COOKE

Foden has been on fire all season, and was named the Player's player of the year this weeken. Phil and girlfriend Rebecca Cooke, who live in a £3.25million mansion in Prestbury, Cheshire, are believed to have met at secondary school.

The couple now have two children; Rebecca became a mother at age 18 when the couple's son Ronnie was born. Their daughter True arrived two years later - and they have another new arrival on the way.

KYLE WALKER AND ANNIE KILNER

It's been a tough year for the long-term couple but Man City defender Kyle has returned to live in the family home just four months after he was kicked out by his wife Annie when she discovered that he had fathered a second child with Instagram influencer Lauryn Goodman.

Heartbroken Annie was heavily pregnant at the time with their fourth child when she heard the shocking news of her husband's infidelity. Kyle was ordered to pack his bags and leave their £3.5 million mansion in Prestbury, Cheshire.

He relocated to a home close by, paying £20,000 per month rent as the couple's marriage hit the rocks.

The past few months have been a rollercoaster for Annie, after she discovered in December last year that her sportsman husband had fathered a second child with Lauryn with Walker moving out of their home a few weeks later in January.

Prior to the arrival of their fourth child, who they plan to name Rezon, the couple also share sons Roman, 11, Riaan, seven, and Reign, five.

KEVIN DE BRUYNE AND MICHELE LACROIX

Belgian Michele has been married to her footballing beau Kevin De Bruyne for several years.

The couple tied the knot back in 2016 after the Belgium international proposed under the Eiffel Tower during a romantic trip to Paris.

And they have been together since 2014. During that time, they've become parents to sons Mason, seven, Rome, four, and toddler Suri.

As well as enjoying life as a wife and mother, Michele is a keen user of social media, where she boasts a considerable following.

Sasha Attwood is the childhood sweetheart of Jack Grealish. The Man City striker has faced injury this season and has frequently been a sub but is likely to play some part in the final match of the season.

Far from riding on her boyfriend's coattails, Sasha enjoys her own successful career as a model, and in 2022 became a face of L’Oreal.

Despite Jack having a bit of a playboy reputation reputation, the couple appear to enjoy a close relationship, and Sasha has previously taken to Instagram to share her affection for the athlete.

For Jack's 27th birthday, Sasha shared a gushing tribute to the footballer, sharing a montage of loved-up images of the couple throughout their years together.

Captioning her sweet post, Sasha penned: 'Happy birthday babe. Love you so much'.

Among the images were the couple sharing a kiss as they snapped a selfie in a lift together.

ARSENAL

DECLAN RICE AND LAUREN FRYER

Rice has been flying high in his football career since joining Arsenal in summer 2022, following a stint at West Ham. And the England midfielder's childhood sweetheart Lauren Fryer has been by his side throughout it all.

The couple - who keep most of their relationship private - have been together for eight years and welcomed their first child in August 2022.

Earlier this year, Lauren deleted all of her Instagram pictures after receiving a barrage of abuse online over her appearance.

The 25-year-old wiped all posts from her Instagram page after finding herself the target of cruel online trolls.

She was taunted for her appearance, with the bullying first starting in December last year when an anonymous account told England international team member Declan he 'could do better'.

The account which posted the tweet was suspended after hundreds criticised them.

One wrote: 'Declan Rice is a successful, professional football player. He has a beautiful girlfriend who he has been with since they were both 17. They are also the parents to a beautiful child. He is happy and blessed.'

MARTIN ODEGAARD AND HELEN SPILLING

Martin Odegaard's partner Helen Spilling is a Norwegian professional dancer who has participated in Norway’s edition of Dancing with the Stars. She runs her own dance studio in Oslo called The Zone Dance Studio - and is regularly seen supporting her man at the North London stadium.
