Real Madrid have given star signing Eden Hazard the No.7 shirt, with the Belgian set to follow in the footsteps of the likes of Raul Gonzalez and Cristiano Ronaldo by donning the number.
That shirt had belonged to Mariano Diaz, who is still at the club, but he will now wear the No.24, despite rumours linking him with a move to Monaco.
Elsewhere, it was interesting to see that James Rodriguez has been awarded the No.16 shirt, having worn the No.10 before going on loan to Bayern Munich.

I laugh when I hear people saying Hazard will replace Ronaldo. Am a Barca fan, but I say the truth. Do you know what it is to be a Ronaldo ???? It means you have to score at least 30 leagues goals and atleast 35 goals and upwards to be a Ronaldo replicate. Hazard can never score Such goals. They already have playmakers who can assist and give good balls to goal scorers , all they lack is a goal scorer. Hazard can never be that goal scoring machine Madrid are missing . Hazard will shine, score some important goals like Bale or Benzema but can never keep that Ronaldo constant goal scoring record. After this season Madrid will be in market searching for a goal machine again. I believe Mbappe , Harry Kane , Salah or Neymar will be close to scoring more goals than Neymar. Madrid will be back next season searching for a goal machine again....watch out .
