Now, according to the Mirror, Erik ten Hag has plans to keep United's interim manager Ralf Rangnick in his dugout.

Erik ten Hag took over the manager's position at Ajax in 2017 and the Dutchman has done a phenomenal job for the club. The 52-year-old has helped Ajax win two Dutch Leagues, two Dutch Cups and one Dutch Super Cup. During the 2018-19 season, he led his team to the semifinals of the UEFA Champions League for the first time since 1997.

Even after losing most of the best players that he managed at Ajax, Ten Hag has always delivered for the Dutch club, which has attracted the attention of Manchester United.

Signing Ten Hag could be a great choice for Manchester United, as the 52-year-old is well known for brining the best out of young and experienced players. Moreover, the Dutchman plays an attacking, high-pressing style of football, which is something that the Red Devils want to implement.

Current interim manager Ralf Rangnick is said to be a great admirer of Ten Hag. The German could advise the club to appoint him as he will start working as a consultant for United this summer.
