Manchester United will be appointing a permanent manager this summer and the club has already started to intensify the search for one. Ajax manager Erik ten Hag and PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino are said to be the firm favorites for the job. Now, according to the Mirror, Erik ten Hag has plans to keep United's interim manager Ralf Rangnick in his dugout.
Erik ten Hag took over the manager's position at Ajax in 2017 and the Dutchman has done a phenomenal job for the club. The 52-year-old has helped Ajax win two Dutch Leagues, two Dutch Cups and one Dutch Super Cup. During the 2018-19 season, he led his team to the semifinals of the UEFA Champions League for the first time since 1997.
Even after losing most of the best players that he managed at Ajax, Ten Hag has always delivered for the Dutch club, which has attracted the attention of Manchester United.
Signing Ten Hag could be a great choice for Manchester United, as the 52-year-old is well known for brining the best out of young and experienced players. Moreover, the Dutchman plays an attacking, high-pressing style of football, which is something that the Red Devils want to implement.
Current interim manager Ralf Rangnick is said to be a great admirer of Ten Hag. The German could advise the club to appoint him as he will start working as a consultant for United this summer.
However, according to recent reports, Ten Hag could ask Ralf Rangnick to be a part of his team as a tactical expert. It will be interesting to see whether Rangnick will accept Ten Hag's proposition of having him in the dugout. It would be a huge boost for United if Rangnick ends up being part of Ten Hag's team.
Manchester United reportedly expect to announce their new permanent manager by the end of April
Manchester United's future is currently uncertain as the club still doesn't have a permanent manager. The more time the club takes to appoint a manager, the harder it will get for United to properly plan for next season. Experts expect United to have a busy transfer window this summer as their will be a lot of incomings and outgoings.
According to a recent report from the Daily Mail, United could end up announcing their new permanent manager by the end of the month of April. The report adds that this time frame will give enough time for the new manager to come in and assess the situation at the club. Moreover, the new manager will have enough time to plan for the upcoming transfer window and also to negotiate the contracts of the players he wants to keep.

Importantly. Coaches with these kind of football can be very controlling and it’s interesting to see oh he can managed big names. Younger players are easier to control and change. Sarri faced similar issues at Chelsea and Juventus. If there’s one thing Ragnick can do. It’s to show those players who’s boss. Clearly many are sulking but he’s not Ole who was a not scared to annoy them

Have MU got the guts to play ten Hag dominant attacking football? Opposite of Mourinho and Ole style of last years
