Fans whistle Barcelona players and jeer Coutinho in particular

Barcelona's Champions League elimination at the hands of Liverpool resulted in some Blaugrana fans whistling the players before the game against Getafe at the Camp Nou.

Philippe Coutinho was the player who was jeered most by the supporters when his name was announced twice from the speakers.

Whistles were heard both during the team's warm-up, as well as when the starters entered the pitch before the referee's first whistle.

Music from the loudspeakers covered part of the whistles, which faded as the game started and become applause seconds later.

Although both Ernesto Valverde and Ivan Rakitic were at the receiving end of criticism after the Anfield thrashing, there was no special reaction from the fans towards them.

Lionel Messi and Jasper Cillessen were the players that were applauded more than the rest when their names were heard during the starting line-up announcement.
