Lionel Messi has won many admirers across the world and one of those is the tennis player Roger Federer.
The Swiss has expressed his admiration for the Barcelona captain's skills and vision on the pitch.
What I love about Messi probably most is when he gets the ball and is able to turn the body towards goal, and then he has full vision," Federer told The Financial Times.
"Then he's going to pass, or dribble, or shoot.
"There's always three options for him. He's one of the few who's got that."
A few years ago, Federer had labelled Messi as the greatest footballer of all time, something he still stands by.
"I think Messi is the best player in the history of football," he noted.
"I love watching him play and I hope that one day he can win the World Cup with his national team [Argentina]."
