Nabil Fekir will become the third World Cup winner to play for Real Betis when he makes his debut for his new club.
Fekir was part of the France squad that was victorious in Russia last summer where he played in every round apart from the semi-finals.
Argentine goalkeeper Nery Pumpido was the first world champion (Mexico 1986) to play for Betis when he joined in 1988.
Denilson wasn't a World Cup winner when he joined Betis in 1998 in a club-record deal of 5.3 billion pesetas.
After four years at the Estadio Benito Villamarin, though, the midfielder was part of the Brazilian side that won the World Cup in South Korea and Japan in 2002.
Other than Fekir, there are no world champions in the current Betis squad, but there is William Carvalho who won Euro 2016 with Portugal and Aissa Mandi who won the Africa Cup of Nations with Algeria this year.

Nabil Fekir shouldn't sign for Real Batis. He should have chosen for a bigger club. It seems like a pull back in his career.
Dude u should know he had 1 year left on his contract and get him less than 30 mill! That’s how transfers work
