On June 28, 2012, Euro 2012 semi-finals witnessed a great assist, goal, and celebration by Italy. The Italian striker Balotelli managed to score two goals, which made Italy qualify to the final of the campaign after beating Germany 2-1.

"When I score, I don't celebrate because it's my job. When a postman delivers letters, does he celebrate?" - those were the words of Balotelli at Euro 2012.

Italy entered the match looking to score the first goal to put pressure on the Germans. They quickly managed to score their first goal by an excellent header from Ballotelli. The football world then saw the Italians do their magic by scoring an amazing second goal. In the 36th minute, Italian midfielder Riccardo Montolivo made a great assist to Balotelli who ran with the ball then shot a rocket that hit the goal making it 2-0 for Italy.

The story of the goal was not only about its assist or shot, but it also continued by Balotelli's celebration. After scoring the goal he took his shirt off and stood still looking as if he was the hero of the day.

The second half started with Germany looking to score a quick goal in order to keep their chances in the match. Mesut Ozil managed to score a goal from penalty for Germany in the 90th minute, but it was too late and the match ended in a 2-1 victory for Italy.
