The Real Madrid manager returned to his role during the week as the manager of the club and he spoke to the press ahead of the game against Celta Vigo on Saturday.
Zinedine Zidane made his shock return to Real Madrid during the week. And Real Madrid will make a shock appearance on a Monday night LaLiga fixture against Leganés on April 15 at 21:00 CET.
Not since 2014 have Real Madrid played in a Monday night fixtures and Zidane was asked if it was "humilitation" to emphasise their elimination from the Champions League at the hands of Ajax.
"We have to just accept we are playing on Monday. I’d prefer to play Saturday or Sunday but I am not one to give opinion on this," Zidane responded.
Real Madrid suffering a season-ending week, which was also Santiago Solari's last as the manager of the club when they were knocked out of the Copa del Rey by Barcelona, knocked out of the Champions League by Ajax and knocked back in their attempt to catch Barcelona in LaLiga with a loss to their rivals in the league at the Bernabéu also.

For those that have been underperforming it's harsh to judge them individually because the whole team has underperformed. Casemiro has been sloppy but just as you said about Zidane believing in Benzema he also believes in Casemiro, after all he is the one who broke up the three galactico midfield of Kroos Modric and James/Isco to accommodate him. I have watched Milinkovic before he's a great player but you're saying he makes out of this world passes and yet in your team you have Kroos and even James who also make out of this world passes. The motivation will come under a 'new' manager and especially in a new season because this season you have nothing to play for. Real is an incredible team and in my opinion the only positions that need to be strengthened are two of the forward positions and left back because Marcelo is not able to cover the whole left side on his own anymore
