Joachim Low has handed Germany recalls to Thomas Muller and Mats Hummels for his final tournament in charge of Die Mannschaft.
Löw on Müller & Hummels: "They played a strong season so we brought them back. They can contribute to the team in terms of leadership. They know our way of thinking & a big part of the team. We made the decision back then because we wanted to give the boys the chance to develop"
Löw on Christian Günter: "He's a player that I have watched many times in Freiburg. He made a great development. He's gotten better in many areas over the past two or three years. He's very dynamic and can also score goals"
Löw: "We're not among the absolute top favorites, so I didn't set any goals. But of course we want to get as far as we can. It'll be important to get through the group stage. We must not think about the second or third step. The team has to play every game as if it were the last"
