Ghana coach takes controversial selfie with a crying Son Heung-min after win

A Ghana coach has caused controversy online after taking a selfie with a crying Son Heung-min seconds after their 3-2 win over South Korea at the World Cup.

Ghana came out on top in an exciting contest which saw South Korea claw it back to 2-2 after going 2-0 down.

Mohammed Salisu and Mohammed Kudus scored twice in the first half to give Ghana a commanding lead going into the break.

South Korea came out rejuvenated after the break with two headers in three minutes from Cho Gue-sung stunning the Education City Stadium.

Seven minutes after that, Ajax star Kudus popped up with his second of the game to seal all three points for Otto Addo's side.

It feels like a significant victory for the Black Stars, who now have three points going into their final game against Uruguay.

Meanwhile, South Korea have the daunting task of overcoming a strong Portugal side. Defeat to Ghana was damaging, with emotions getting the better of Son at full-time.

While being consoled by Ghana's coaching staff, one man decided to get his phone out and quickly snap a picture next to Son. Check it out below.

The Tottenham Hotspur man quickly moved away from the camera to slump to his knees in sadness.

Fans online have reacted to the footage with some believing it was a classless move.

One person said: "I know he's sent this in his WhatsApp group chat."

South Korea manager Paulo Bento was sent off at full-time after unleashing an explosive tirade at referee Anthony Taylor.

The official refused to give Bento's men the chance to take a set-piece in the dying embers after 10 minutes of added time.

Bento will now miss Friday's clash with his native Portugal.

Post-match, Kudus told BBC Sport he and his teammates gave 100 per cent to pick up the win.

The 22-year-old said: "It's a good feeling. We wanted the three points and we got them. Everyone was absolutely on top of their game today.

"They came back to 2-2, we had to come up with more energy and it happened.

"I want to thank all my team-mates, it's a team game and they all played a part in my performance. The cross in from Jordan [Ayew] and the cut-back from Inaki [Williams]. Big up to everyone because everyone played a part."
