The French media tweeted with the link of the news with flushed face emoji, before Marca, AS and Mundo Deportivo report their news.
However another twitter account Actu posted all of the reports by those media with a 'face with sweat' emoji.
And then Befoot replied: They really bite it...
In French, the April Fools Day is called 'Poisson d'avril' which means 'the fish in April'. Thus Befoot's hint of this Giroud's reply is a fake news could make sense...
