Pep Guardiola has insisted that his Manchester City stars never meant to offend anyone after they were filmed singing a distasteful version of Liverpool's 'Allez, Allez, Allez' chant.
Ilkay Gundogan, Kyle Walker and Vincent Kompany are among the City players who were seen passing around the Premier League trophy as they celebrate beating Liverpool to the league title, while chanting to the tune of the famous Kop song can be heard in the background.
On the plane after their 4-1 victory over Brighton they appear to sing a song chanted by City fans this season: 'All the way to Kiev, To end up in defeat, Crying in the stands, And battered on the streets, Kompany injured Salah, Victims of it all, Sterling won the double, The Scousers won f*** all, Allez, allez, allez.'
When asked for a response to the video, Guardiola insisted that the chant was never meant to offend anyone before apologising if it did.
'Just for one second imagine we could offend about these tragedies, it’s incredible,' Guardiola explained in his press conference on Friday.
'We were happy for ourselves. If someone was offended for another issue I apologise, but it wasn’t our intention. We were happy for ourselves.'

Chanting in a good way will make football is one of the unity for the world. But for City player, they are not respect what Liverpool fans feel about it. He is not good for the future of Unity by Football..

it's true but good to accept an act rather playing like a baby by refusing the act in the first place . It's their way to celebrate victory and hope they compete with Liverpool across Europe too
