With three crucial games in a space of a week, Pep Guardiola's Manchester City seek to achieve what no English team have ever accomplished: winning the quadruple.
The Citizens are in a good position to win the Premier League and FA Cup, having already won the Carabao Cup, and they will fancy their chances in the Champions League, too.
City face Cardiff City at home on Wednesday in their attempt to overtake Liverpool as league leaders, while they will take on Brighton in the semi-final of the FA Cup on Saturday at Wembley Stadium.
Three days later they will play against Tottenham Hotspur in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals, where they were knocked out by Liverpool last season.
Guardiola has managed incredible achievements in the past, including six trophies in one season at Barcelona, back-to-back leagues with Bayern Munich, and winning the Premier League title with City after accumulating 100 points.
Only two teams have come close to winning the quadruple in the past in England.
Sir Alex Ferguson's Manchester United won the treble in 1998/99 after securing the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League, whilst Gerard Houllier's Liverpool lifted the FA Cup, League Cup and UEFA Cup in 2000/01.

Just a gut feeling but I feel like we are going to be weak creatively. I'm hoping to be proven wrong but just a feeling.
With the midfielders we have, we will always be creative

i've had a bad feeling about this game all day, and this lineup doesnt help.. not normally the type to complain about lineups, and im glad foden got the start but i'm not feeling too confident right now.

Oh, and also about someone called Foden starting. That's exciting too I suppose.

The Stones-Laporte pairing returns. I'm really excited for that.

Although I have to say I hope this doesn’t play out like the West Ham game where our midfield and forwards had rarely played together and we had to bring on Bernardo and Sterling.

Wonder if Foden starting is due to gundogans contract stall?

I have some Spurs fan RES tagged on my desktop PC that they will give gold to a City user if Foden starts in the Prem this season. Kinda annoyed that I'm not at home lol
